The short animated film Peter and the Wolf, co-produced by the Norwegian company Storm Studio, won an Oscar in 2008. In recent years, several Norwegian animated films have made their mark on the international film scene.
Norwegian films have never been more popular with foreign audiences. Their export value is increasing as interest from abroad grows.
Over the last years the export revenues of Norwegian feature films have almosty tripled. This increased interest in Norwegian films has also been visible in Turkey, where several film festivals are looking to Norwegian films.
