The following are exempted from fee when submitting application for Schengen Visa

Children under 12 years of age

Pupils, students and their accompanying teachers if the purpose of the travel is studying or educational training

Researchers from third countries travelling in the Schengen area to do scientific research as defined by the European parliament and council recommendation 2005/761/EC of 28 September 2005

representatives of non-profit organisations aged 25 years or less participating in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural or educational events organised by non-profit organisations
-
participants aged 25 years or less in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural or educational events organised by non-profit organisations
The following are exempted from fee when submitting application for residence/work permit:

All EU/EEA nationals.

Children under the age of 18 years at the time the application is submitted.
Please inform The Embassy staff if you are entitled to be exempted. The fee will then be reimbursed to the creditcard that made the payment.
NOTE! If applying through the Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary in Istanbul, the visa fee has to be paid to the Hungarian Consulate and not the Norwegian Embassy.
