If you ar travelling to Norway you may apply for a visa at the norwegian embassy. Please note that only applications where Norway is the main destination of the travel may be submitted to the Norwegian embassy.

When you apply for a C-Schengen visa you must first register the application online in our Application Portal Norway. When you register the application, you will also pay the fee online, and book appointment for submitting the application at the embassy. When you have successfully registered your application, you will receive a cover letter by e-mail. This cover letter must be signed and submitted to the embassy when applying for visa.You can find more detailed instructions on how to register your application under How to apply for visa and residence permit.
When you come to the embassy for submitting your application, you must bring all the necessary documentation. Below you will find a list of what documents all applications shall include, and which supporting documents shall be submitted according to the purpose of the visit in Norway.
You must bring all the original documents and a perfect A4 copy of each of the documents. The embassy will give you the original documents back after we have checked them, and we will keep the A4-copies. Please be aware that all documents must be in english or norwegian. If you have turkish documents, you must also submit a certified translation of these documents.
What shall the application include?
All application for a C-Schengen visa shall include:

Original passport issued within the previous 10 years and valid at least 3 months beyond the end of the intended visit with minimum two empty pages left for attaching a visa

Photocopy of all used pages in passport
- 1 biometric photo
- Travel and medical insurance
- Supporting documents according to the purpose of the visit, see below

Please note that the embassy may ask for additional documentation if needed. Failure to provide requested documentation may lead to rejection
The Embassy's processing time for C-visas is 2 weeks. An application for a C-visa must be submitted at latest 15 days before planned travel, and it may not be submitted more than 3 months before planned travel.
NOTE! If urgent business-visa processing is needed, the application MUST be registered online. Applications submitted in paper will not be given priority, and the case handling time is then 14 days also for business purposes.
The embassy advise applicants to only book and not purchase flight tickets upfront. Please note that the embassy is not responsible for any expenses in connection with insurance or purchased flight tickets in case of rejection.
Please note that as a general rule an extension of the visa is not granted after entering Norway unless unforeseen circumstances outside the applicant`s and reference`s control arise which mean that the applicant has a genuine need to extend the stay.
Please be aware that only those who has documented previous travels to Norway or the Schengen area and has documented a need for several entries may be granted a multiple entry visa.
