Press Release: Norway condemns violence in Syria

From January 23 to Wednesday 25 Ambassador Janis Bjørn Kanavin payed his first official visit to Antalya and Alanya as Norway’s Ambassador to Turkey. During the days in the southern parts of Turkey, he had several meetings with Mayors, Governors, Honorary Consuls and the Norwegian Community in Alanya.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg attended the launch of the hull of the Norwegian-owned offshore vessel the M/S Grand Canyon at the Bogazici Tersan shipyard in Yalova, Turkey. The vessel will now be towed to Norway and completed at the Bergen Group Fosen shipyard in Rissa, near Trondheim.
