Special Jury Prize to ”Oslo, August 31st”

Last updated: 17/04/2012 // Joachim Trier’s movie “Oslo, August 31st" was a great success at the 31st Istanbul Film Festival. The film was met with full cinemas and was well received by both the audience and the jury.

Saturday 14th of April, Istanbul Film Festival concluded with a gala ceremony that presented Golden Tulip Awards. The jury of the 31st Istanbul Film Festival Golden Tulip International Competition was headed by director Nuri Bilge Ceylan. The other members of the jury were director Brillante Mendoza, actor Alexander Fehling, director Corneliu Porumbiu and journalist Elçin Yahşi.

In the International Competition, Joachim Trier’s “Oslo, August 31st” got the Special Jury Prize. Ingrid Olava was handed the award by Nuri Bilge Ceylan.
