How can I apply for a business visa?

The Embassy requires personal appearance by the applicant when submitting the application, unless the applicants company has been admitted to the "Business Express Program". For further information about this program, please refer to the link in the meny on the left side.

 

When can I apply for a business visa?

You can submit your visa application at the Embassys visa section for the following opening hours:

Monday-Thursday: 09.00-12.00

 

When can I call the visa reception?

How much shall I pay in case processing fee?

The business C-visa handling fee is 115 YTL.

The handling fee should be paid in advance to the Embassy’s bank account:

Applicant's name has to be written on the bank receipt. Please be sure that you have paid your visa fee in a correct way for your name to be seen on the receipt.

 

Which supporting documents must be handed in with the business visa application?

1.        A personally signed and fully completed application form.

2.        Passport with a validity that exceeds that of the visa by three months

3.        Two photographs- white background

4.        Previous passports, if available

5.        Guarantee letter of the applicant’s company stating the position of the applicant, the travel purpose and guarantee that expenses will be covered- signed by the authorized signatory

6.        Original or certified copy of taxation certificate of applicants company

7.        Original or certified copy of trade registry gazette

8.     Original or certified copy of certificate of activity

9.        Original invitation letter from the receiving company

10.   Bank accounts

 

All the documents should be submitted with an English or Norwegian translation.

Please note that the Embassy has the right to ask for any additional documents, any originals or any additional translations.

 

You must not have any missing copies for your documents. The embassy does not take copies for you.

 

Can I get a multiple entry visa?

You may only get a multiple entry visa if you have a visa from Norway before.

You may only get a multiple entry visa if it is specified in the invitation letter from Norway that this is necessary

 

What is the case processing time?

Approximately 3 days

 

When shall I submit travel and health insurance?

If a visa is granted, you have to document that you have valid health – and travel insurance with a value of minimum 30 000 €, covering all expenses related to health, medication and hospital in the Schengenarea. Please note that the insurance must be valid 1 more day than the returndate.

You do not have to submit the insurance until you have been informed that a visa is granted.

 

Please note that a list of insurance companies is available if you want suggestions for insurance companies which comply with the conditions stipulated by the European Union for travel helth insurances.

 

Can I appeal a negative decision?

You have the right to appeal within 3 weeks after receipt of the decision, cf § 27 of the Public Administration Act.

In order to appeal, you must send the appeal letter with additional documentation in one piece to the Embassy.

Send the appeal in the following way:

Ø                      by cargo or post to the Embassy, marked “Appeal- visa”

 

The appeal letter is to be written in English or Norwegian.
